Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and coordinate immuno-oncology preclinical tumor models using adoptive transfer of T cells and small molecule dosing for target validation, candidate selection, and IND-enabling studies
  • Develop and implement in vivo methodologies for the advancement of Obsidian technology, including characterization of immune cells, efficacy and biomarker assessment, and PK/PD analysis
  • Supervise the design of experiments, ensure meticulous execution of bench work, analyze data, troubleshoot, and communicate findings
  • Work effectively as a team member with strong interpersonal skills and commitment to working collaboratively in a fast paced environment

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • PhD in Immunology, Cancer Biology, or related field with preference for postdoctoral experience and/or experience in biotech/pharma setting
  • Expertise with mouse in vivo tumor models, with preference for experience with syngeneic tumor models and evaluation of immune-based therapies
  • Expertise with animal handling, IV, IP, and oral dosing of small molecules, adoptive cell transfer, and tissue harvesting
  • Comprehensive understanding of and experience with PK/PD analysis
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and excellent communication skills, highly organized with flawless record keeping and multi-tasking abilities
  • Highly collaborative working style, passion for immuno-oncology, and ability to adapt in a fast paced, rapidly developing environment
  • Authorized to work in the US at the time of application
